FKD, a beatmaker/producer/DJ based in Japan, has released his first album composed solely of instrumental music. The long-awaited nationwide distribution of "Initial Impulse" is now confirmed! The CD, which was released on April 27, 2024 as a digital and official store-only CD, will now be distributed nationwide, and is an album that expresses the various "initial impulses" that he has experienced in his activities. The album is not limited to Hip Hop, which is his roots, but also includes many songs that are reinterpretations of various musical genres, including Bass Music, IDM, Electoronica, and Dance Music in general, to which he is currently devoted. This album is a glimpse of how he is further expanding his soundscape through numerous initial impulses even from the beginning of his activities. FKD - Profile Born in Chiba, Japan, FKD started DJing at the age of 16. He started DJing at the age of 16 and was greatly influenced by the experimental beat music scene in LA, where he began producing music. He is also the leader of the creative group "VIBEPAK", and is involved in the cultural transmission of a closer crossover between dance and music. Starting with the release of the album "EGO TRIP" on OILWORKS Rec. in 2019, he has provided music and sound design for artists in Japan and abroad, as well as working in units such as Dry Echoes (Hikaru Tanaka x FKD), FIC (FKD, Shun Ishiwaka ,Aaron Choulai), Dewy (erie&FKD).
