Tokyo-based beatmaker soakubeats will release his third solo album "Hitori no Chikara" on CD in a limited edition. soakubeats started making beats on his PC in 2012, and his style is strongly influenced by street rap music such as trap and grime. He is a beatmaker whose style is strongly influenced by street rap music such as trap and grime. He has released two solo albums so far: 2012's "Never Pay 4 Music" with ECD and OMSB, and 2018's "Crude" with Irie Yo and Jin Dogg. In addition, he has released several tag-team albums with rappers such as DEKISHI and Minchanbaby, known for their participation in the DJ Q x tofubeats "Sirus," and recently released the album "Eien" with OGGYWEST in 2021. The album to be released this time, "Hitori no Minoru no Chikara" is said to be a work with beats that sublimate the subtleties of emotions felt on a daily basis, and with guest artists who were chosen for their importance of being "down-to-earth" people.In addition to ONNEN and OGGYWEST, who have previously collaborated with the group, PAZU, tofubeats, A-THUG and Moment Joon also participate. It also includes "[2038 Newest]" featuring valknee and Reirin (TAMARIN), which has already been released as a single, and "It's Over and Done With! featuring Minchanbaby and Young Celeb Naruto. The album title was taken from a tweet by ECD, named after soakubeats, who looked back on this album when he had difficulty making it and felt like falling apart, inspiring him to "believe in himself again. The Bridge," newly released for distribution as a single, is a trap-oriented song looped with unsettling atmospheric synths, in which A-THUG raps about his days in New York City, living hard despite the difficulties he faced, in the "down-to-earth" hip-hop that soakubeats considers important on this album. The album was mixed and mastered by ITAKUBEATS. Mixed and mastered by Illicit Tsuboi. The artwork was drawn by painter Sato Makoto. Due to the aftereffects of the coronavirus, songwriting did not go as smoothly as I had hoped, and I often felt weak. The production of this album began with such thoughts as "This will be my last album. The production period was three years. When I was going through a series of problems and slumps and thinking, "I'm screwed, what am I going to do now? Why do you want to think that you are helpless? There is something. Each one has power. There is power in each one. I made this album for people who believe in their own power and live their own lives. As a beatmaker, I can't express my feelings in words, but I put my inexpressible feelings into the beats. I would like to thank all the artists who lent their help. Thanks to all of you, I can proudly call this album a work of art.
