The Jesus Lizard, one of the most iconic and influential bands to emerge in the second half of the 20th century, finally releases their first album in 26 years, "Rack". The Jesus Lizard will release their first new album, "Rack," on Ipecac Recordings since 1998's "Blue. There are references to the past, sure. The Jesus Lizard reunited in 2009 for a limited number of shows. The four have spent the intervening years as friends who keep in touch with each other and as touring bandmates. We literally just made the record because we thought it would be fun to do it," says David Wm. Sims. We are connected by our music and we respect each other," says Mac McNeilly, emphasizing the strong bond between the musicians.
