She was chosen as one of four pianists for a tribute concert to Otis Spann on the 100th anniversary of his birth, and her first album in seven years, "THE CHICAGO BLUES PIANO TRIO ! will be released. The trio of bassist John W. Lauler, drummer Derek Hendrickson, and other members of The Cash Box Kings play and talk about great piano blues songs from the prewar period, from Tampa Red to Otis Spann. The album is a cover album of piano blues classics from Tampa Red to Otis Spann.Recorded at Joyride studio, a Grammy award-winning studio and one of the best known Chicago blues studios.
