It was produced at Sound City Studios in LA, where Nirvana, Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others have recorded in the past. It includes the singles "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair," "The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala," "Suck It and See," and "Black Treacle. Compared to past albums, this popular album leans more toward classic rock and roll and has a pop sound that seems to capture the optimistic atmosphere of 1960s England with a Britpop-era sensibility.
