This is the first release of the complete 2-CD set with the previous CDs. Scriabin was considered more promising as a pianist than his Moscow Conservatory classmate Rachmaninoff, but a wrist injury forced him to devote himself to composition.In the late Romantic style, which was influenced by Chopin, he departed from tonal music and pursued his own original style. He established expressionist music and is considered one of the pioneers of contemporary music. Later, fascinated by Nietzsche's philosophy, he developed a unique mystical style characterized by mystical chords. Chen Yunjie was born in 1980 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China. He studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and later studied at the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as in the United States. At the age of 12, he won the first prize at the National Piano Competition in China. Since then, he has won several national and international competitions, including the Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition, the Cleveland International Piano Competition, the Long-Thibault International Piano Competition, and the Yi Sang Yun Competition. He became the youngest ever professor at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. (King International)
