Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" directed by Dudamel and Staatskapelle Berlin Jürgen Flimm, featuring D'Arcangelo, Leschmann, Prohaska, and Klebassa, all the best Mozart singers of their generation, directed by Jürgen Flimm, an attendant at the Berlin State Opera until March 2018. Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro". The performance took place at the Schiller Theater in November 2015. The Berlin State Opera House began restoration work in 2010, which took about seven years to complete in September 2017. This performance was recorded at the neighboring Schiller Theater, which was in use during the restoration. This is the third time that Jürgen Flimm has worked on "The Marriage of Figaro. Frim himself is confident that this is his best production to date. The conductor is Gustavo Dudamel, a master of the next generation who is recognized by Daniel Barenboim, the current general music director as of 2018. The singers are all the best Mozart singers of their day. Count Almaviva will be played by Ildebrando D'Arcangelo, one of the most popular bass-baritone singers in the world today, who will show his overwhelming presence with his lustrous and powerful voice, which was also heard during his visit to Japan in 2016 to perform at the Vienna State Opera.The Countess is played by Dorothea Reschmann, a famous German soprano who is now considered one of the best Mozart singers in the world. Susanna is played by Anna Prohaska, who has a beautiful and emotional voice. Figaro is played by Lauri Vaschal, a bass-baritone from Estonia. Kelvino is played by Marianne Crevassa, the famous French flower who is in demand as a trouser player in theaters all over the world.
