Neudauer, a beautiful rising star of Germany, presents the second Ravel! The second CD by Neudauer is Ravel's "Sonata for Violin and Violoncello", which includes two sonatas and a sonata for violin and cello. Lena Neudauer, a rising star in Germany, who gained attention after winning the first prize at the Leopold Mozart International Competition in Augsburg in 2006, has released her long-awaited second album! Following her highly acclaimed and ambitious debut disc, "Schumann's Complete Works for Violin and Orchestra (93 258)", she has now recorded Ravel's Complete Works for Violin and Piano. Compared to his orchestral and piano works, Ravel's complete works in the chamber music genre are rarely released, so this is another new release that is sure to attract attention! The collection includes three sonatas and four small pieces.The "Habanera" was originally written for two pianos, but Kreisler arranged it for violin and piano. The "Habanera" and the "Tzigane" are small pieces that allow us to enjoy the ethnic tones of Ravel, whose mother is Basque, while the sonata offers us the full appeal of Ravel's mix of classical sounds and impressionistic colors. The performance was again full of Ravel's charms, with a sincere sound and a sense of stability that belies the difficulty of the pieces. The program, which included completely different tunes, was beautifully expressed. The ensemble was led by cellist Julian Steckel, winner of the 2010 Munich International Competition, and Paul Livinius, who has performed with Steckel many times. Lena Neudauer was born in Munich in 1984.He began playing the violin at the age of three and played with an orchestra for the first time at the age of ten. He also studied under F. Andrievsky, A. Chumachenko, Midori Goto, Nobuko Imai, and Seiji Ozawa, and is already active internationally as one of the most talented young players of the next generation.
