Stradivarius Feast - This is a collection of recordings by four of the greatest violinists of the 20th century, Ferras, Handel, Francescatti, and de Wit Stradivarius, all of whom were avid users of the Stradivarius. Although all are monaural recordings, the lustrous sound of the Stradivarius can be enjoyed in abundance. Ferras plays the "Milanello" from 1728, which was also played by Paganini; Ida Handel plays the one from 1699; Francescatti plays the "Heart" from 1727; and De Vito plays the "Toscano" from 1690.
