Dream Theater's 15th official bootleg is a live album of their 1996 New Jersey show! Dream Theater has been periodically releasing their treasured live, demo, and studio outtakes as official bootlegs in the "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" (=Lost Not Forgotten Sound Source Collection) series. The 15th release in the series is from the New Jersey show titled "Escape from the Studio" held on December 14, 1996. As the concert title suggests, this was a special gig held during the production of the band's 4th album "Falling Into Infinity," which was released in September 1997, and the band temporarily stopped working in the studio.Five new songs, including early versions of "Burning My Soul," "Peruvian Skies," and "Lines in the Sand," which would later be included in the finished version on the album, are already performed, as well as four movements from the long suite "A Change of Seasons," released the previous year, and The complete 17 songs (about 126 minutes) are selected from the previous three albums. The album was once released on his own Ytsejam Records label on a limited production basis, and is now being reissued in a long-awaited reissue with the latest mastering and new artwork.
