＜Lucio Fabbri "Amarena", the only solo work by PFM violinist Lucio Fabbri, born in 1955 in Cremona, the city of violins, is a multi-talented artist who plays not only violin, but also keyboards, guitar, and other instruments. Born in Cremona, Italy in 1955, Lucio Fabbri is a multi-instrumentalist who plays not only violin but also keyboards, guitar, etc. He has been active as a session musician since the early 1970s, and made his solo debut in 1978 with this album on Krampus Records. In the same year, he joined PFM as a replacement for Mauro Pagani (vn), and when Flavio Pramoli (kbd) left the band, he took over the violin and keyboards by himself, fulfilling his role brilliantly and becoming the savior that averted the crisis of PFM. To this day, he has always worked with PFM, contributing with compositions and performances. He has also demonstrated his talent for composing and arranging music, and has produced numerous Italian pop artists.This album confirms Fabbri's talent for composing and arranging music and his ability to perform, and is a masterpiece of tight, dynamic jazz-rock in band format. 1978 release, limited edition on 180g red vinyl.
