The debut release of Jarv Is, the new band by Jarvis Cocker, frontman of Pulp, who led the 90's Britpop heyday, has finally been unleashed! Jarvis Cocker is the former frontman of Pulp, a band that was part of the Britpop movement of the 90's, when quality bands like Oasis, Blur, Suede, Supergrass, and Ash appeared one after the other and became a social phenomenon. Jarvis Cocker, former frontman of the band Pulp, has released three albums as a solo artist, including one with Chili Gonzalez, and has appeared at Fuji Rock under his own name. The band formed to perform at the Sigur Ros festival in Iceland at the end of 2017, and then went on a UK tour in 2018, selling out small venues one after another, and premiered the single "Must I Evolve? Evolve?" was premiered at major festivals such as Primavera and All Points East in 2019.In Japan, 500 analog copies of this album were pre-ordered and sold out within 24 hours of its announcement. The album was completed in the style of adding overdubs and vocal parts based on live recordings of the band's performances as they toured and evolved over the past two years.
