Vampire Weekend

Description:

Vampire Weekend, the Grammy-winning multi-rock band, has released three albums since its debut in 2006, the second and third of which became the first two albums in the history of independent bands to debut at No. 1 on the U.S. charts. Vampire Weekend, a Grammy award-winning multi-rock band that has released three albums since its debut in 2006, the second and third of which were the first two in a row to debut at No. 1 on the U.S. charts, has released its fourth album "Father of the Bride," its first in six years. In addition, two new songs, "Sunflower feat. Steve Lacy" and "Big Blue," have been newly distributed following the release of "Harmony Hall" and "2021," the first new songs in six years, in January of this year. Like "Harmony Hall" and "2021," the two newly released songs were produced by frontman-Ezra Koenig and longtime collaborator Ariel Rechtscheid. The song "Sunflower" features Steve Lacy, guitarist for the mellow soul band "The Internet," which recently performed in Japan to great acclaim. The unison melody of the vocals and bass line is impressive, and their typical light rhythm stands out.The song is produced by Ezra, Ariel, and hip-hop producer DJ Dahi, who has worked with Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Vampire Weekend has been silent for a long time since finishing the tour for their third album "Modern Vampires of the City" in 2014. The long-awaited new release comes just as fans' expectations were rising for the upcoming release of their new album, "Harmony Hall," which was released in January. The song is a refreshing song filled with a sense of euphoria. The music video featuring cameo appearances by actor Jonah Hill and Danielle Heim, a member of the three sisters' band "Heim," also became a hot topic. The song "2021," released at the same time, also drew attention in Japan and abroad for its use of a sample from Haruomi Hosono's 1980's song "Talking.
