With the piano duo Thal & Groothuizen, secret pieces by composers more popular than Beethoven at the time will be brought back to life in the modern age. Reinhard Goebel, founder of Musica Antiqua Cologne and a world-renowned interpreter of innovative music, presents his special project "Beethoven's World" for the anniversary year of Beethoven. However, despite the title "Beethoven's World," there are very few works by Beethoven, but rather unknown works by Beethoven's contemporaries, including many world premiere recordings, which is typical of the genius Goebel.
