Description:

The genius Lan Lan plays a beautiful piano sound with a natural beauty. Born in Shenyang, China in 1982, Lan Lan has performed at the Nobel Prize Concert (2007), President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Concert (2009), and the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony (2010). He has performed at the Nobel Prize Concert (2007), President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Concert (2009), the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympics (2008), etc. In 2010, he served as the official international goodwill ambassador for the Shanghai Expo, and was selected as one of the "250 young global leaders" by the World Economic Forum. In 2007, he was the first Chinese nominee for the Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Music, and he also received the President's Achievement Award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He is also passionate about music education and established the Lan Lan International Music Foundation in New York in 2008 with the support of the GRAMMYs and UNICEF. He was also selected as the youngest resident pianist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. In Japan, he performed for the soundtrack of the 2009 movie "Nodame Cantabile: The Final Movement", which attracted a great deal of attention. He has since released "Liszt My Piano Hero" and "The Chopin Album".The place where he started his career, where the "2nd International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians" was held, which he won at the age of 13 in 1995, and his charity performance in Sendai after the earthquake disaster are still fresh in his memory. In 2017, he will perform in the NHK Taiga Drama "Onna Jôsô Naotora" as the theme musician of the NHK Taiga Drama "Onna Jôsô Shi no Naotora". In 2017, he performed the theme music (composed by Yoko Kanno) for the NHK historical drama "Onna Jôshu Naotora" with the NHK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Paavo Järvi, which attracted a great deal of attention. This will be the release of his best album featuring his masterpieces from the Sony Classical era. Sony Music
