In the year of the 30th anniversary of the death of Herbert von Karajan, we are proud to present the masterpiece "Sibelius: Orchestral Works" from the latest 24bit/96khz remastering of the original master tapes by Abbey Road Studios in 2014. The remastered sound source will be used for the remastering of "Sibelius: Orchestral Works. The remastered sound sources are now being used for the LP release. Originally, the first LP release of this album consisted of the four pieces from Side A to C, but we have made the cutting more generous. Side D contains two pieces that were originally coupled with the symphony. Karajan's Sibelius is a late-Romantic-style picture scroll with a magnificent and peerless sound using a large double-tube orchestra, and his excessive expression in "Finlandia" and others was controversial.However, the recordings made by the former EMI in the late 1970s and early 1980s at the Berlin Philharmonic are said to be the most effective recordings of Karajan's goal, as the microphone position was set in the right place to reproduce the entire orchestra.
