Dvorak and Suk by the up-and-coming Jozef Suk Piano Quartet!A collection of piano quartets by Dvorak and Suk, two of the most famous Czech musicians of the early 20th century. Suk was 17 years old. It is an ambitious work that shows Suk's origins, starting from his nationalist style. In 1898, Suk married Ottilje, the daughter of Dvořák's teacher, and later became the second violinist of the Czech Quartet (formerly the Bohemian Quartet), and later taught at the Prague Conservatory from 1922. Meanwhile, Dvořák's Piano Quartet No. 2 was written when he was 48 years old. It is a substantial work with a series of masterpieces that further deepens the nationalistic tendencies of the work. Both players come from stringed instrumental backgrounds, so the graceful main melody is particularly appealing. The Josef Suk Piano Quartet, formed by up-and-coming Czech performers, will bring you a lively performance of Suk and Dvořák. King International
