A new recording of Thomas Adès' new ballet music "Dante" by the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel is now available!Presented as part of the 700th anniversary of the death of Italy's greatest poet Dante Alighieri in 2021, this epic journey through the afterlife of Dante's epic poem " The Divine Comedy" and is realized through a pioneering artistic collaboration on the contemporary art scene. In the first-ever co-production between the Royal Ballet and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the groundbreaking choreography by the Royal Ballet's resident choreographer, Wayne McGregor, has been fused with composition by composer and conductor Thomas Adès, one of the most influential musicians of the 21st century In October 2019, Dudamel (conductor) and the Los Angeles Philharmonic will premiere the first part of "Inferno," and in October 2021, the Royal Household will present a production of the piece with award-winning visual artist Tashita Dean, known and acclaimed for her pioneering work in film and drama, lighting designer Dante's extraordinary vision was presented in three parts, with Tashita Dean, acclaimed visual artist known for her pioneering work in award-winning film and drama, lighting designer Lucy Carter, and Uzma Hameed for the adaptation.It's a mixture of pure Franz Liszt in different ways, like I'm playing a Liszt piece and I start a fantasy or an improvisational cadenza, and it gradually changes into something different.
