New recording by Alina Ibragimova! All 24 Caprices of Paganini! Here comes Alina Ibragimova's new unaccompanied recording of Paganini's 24 Caprices, polished during the lockdown! Alina Ibragimova is a violinist beloved by the muse, the god of music. Following Hartmann's Sonatas and Suites for Solo Violin, J.S. Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin, and Ysaye's Sonatas for Solo Violin, this new unaccompanied program tests the technical limits of what is possible with one violin and four strings. Hyperion had proposed the recording of Paganini's 24 Caprices Op. 1 to Arena in the past, but due to scheduling conflicts, there was no time to confront the work and it had been postponed for some time. However, this time, with the time afforded by the lockdown of the new Corona Disaster, Arena finally accepted the proposal and decided to record the piece. There is no place to hide in these works, no shortcut to practice," said Alina Ibragimova, and she took this opportunity to work on Paganini with great sincerity and polish. The air in the recording studio was tense, and the sound of Anselmo Bellosio's circa 1775 violin resonated deeply and sharply.Please look forward to the wonderful "24 Caprices" which was completed by pouring all of our technology and expressive power into it!
