The quintet consists of his brother Nat Adderley (cornet), Joe Zawinul (piano), Victor Gaskin (bass) and Roy McCurdy (drums). Produced by André Francis, the album was recorded by ORTF and remastered from original tape reels archived at the INA (Institut National de l'Audiovisuelle de France), in cooperation with the Cannonball Adderley Estate and the INA, It will be released by Elemental Music. Parts of this concert were previously released in poor sound quality on Italian pirate vinyl, but the sound quality is now excellent, and the concert has been reborn as an official and complete recording.The booklet includes numerous rare photographs, essays by acclaimed jazz writers and historians Bob Blumenthal and Zev Feldman, and rare testimonials by Roy McCurdy, Hal Galper, Chris Potter, Michael Wolfe and others.
