Invernizzi and De Riso sing! Handel's Duetto da Camera! Fabio Bonizzoni and La Risonanza, whose "Italian Cantatas" composed during Handel's stay in Italy became one of the most popular series. Their latest work is a collection of Handel's duets for soprano and alto (duetto da camera) featuring two divas of the Italian classical music world, Roberta Invernizzi and Marina De Riso, as soloists. The five pieces were composed in Hanover around 1710-12, after his stay in Italy. Two pieces were composed by Handel around 1720 after he moved to London. And three works from the 1740s, when he was producing many English oratorios, including "Messiah. After his return to England, Handel composed many Italian operas and double songs in Italian.Fabio Bonizzoni, director of La Risonanza, Craig Marchitelli, who also accompanied Invernizzi on his solo album "Songs of the Early Italian Baroque (GCD 922902)," and Caterina DellaGunello, who has supported the bass continuo on the "Italian Cantata Collection.
