The single “Something Real” has been played on radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and 6Music, and Rolling Stone UK described it as “thrilling and ambitious… reminiscent of the Arctic Monkeys during their *Humbug* era.” The Independent highlighted them as a band to watch this year, stating they are “on track to become one of Britain’s next big guitar bands,” while Dork declared, “2026 looks set to be the year their hard work and ambition lead to a breakthrough.” The Guest List is rapidly emerging as a band to watch. *Something Real*, recorded in Bergen, Norway, with collaborator Matias Tellez, builds on this foundation to deliver an emotional debut album.
