Joseph Decosimo, Luke Richardson, and Cleek Schrey, three of the most fascinating interpreters on the American traditional music scene, gathered in a Tennessee cabin to explore old-time fiddle and banjo from field recordings and vintage 78 He explored a repertoire of tunes. Turning the cabin into a studio, they used fiddle, Hardanger d'amore (fiddle with resonant strings), banjo, and a 19th century pump organ to create an expansive composition that resonates with Appalachian and American music.
