This is an all-acoustic guitar solo album by guitarist Wolfgang Moospiel, whose career has been at the forefront for over 30 years with numerous releases from ECM and others. Austrian guitarist Wolfgang Moospiel was a classical musician at an early age, playing violin and classical guitar, and according to Moospiel, "For me, this album is a musical story. It reflects my journey from violinist to classical guitarist to jazz musician. The album includes etudes, each with its own theme, and all originals, including pieces dedicated to Bill Evans, Bach, and Paul Motian, with whom he once collaborated. This is an album in which you can fully enjoy Moospiel's outstanding technique, beautiful sound, and the breadth and depth of his expressive power in his guitar solos.
