I didn't know that Beethoven still had world premiere recordings of his works! The Piano Trio in E-flat major, Hess 47 (world premiere recording) is an arrangement of the String Trio Op.3 originally written in 1794 and arranged by Beethoven himself. Originally, the work consisted of six movements, but only the first movement, which is included here, was actually arranged. The Piano Trio in D major "Kinsky" Halm Anhang 3 (world premiere recording) was originally conceived as an original piano trio, but only the scores for the first movement Allegro and the second movement Rondo (written in the style of a German dance) have survived. The manuscripts of these scores are kept in the British Library in London, and this CD is a performance based on them. Tobu Land System
