Steven Wilson Stereo Mix, a unique work combining live improvisations and studio recordings, is now available on SHM-CD for the first time! The album "Sun and Fear" received a great deal of attention, and the band was extremely busy with tour offers. Taking advantage of the reality of not having enough time to prepare for album production, the band dared to record live, combining the best moments of improvisation that can only be created in a tense live performance with studio recordings of new songs and overdubs of live material. The result is a complete album. This work became the origin of Crimson's subsequent album production style. The live material was recorded at the most stable European tour in 1973, and the studio recording was done at Olympic Studios. Although it is sandwiched between the historical masterpieces "Sun and Fear" and "Red," the contrast between the tension-filled improvisation and John Wetton's vocal track is superb! The liner notes have also been renewed to commemorate the release of the new edition.The liner written by Satoshi Ichikawa is now in the climax of the album!
