This is the only album by the Detroit girl group on Lee Hazelwood's label, and it's an extremely rare and coveted album for soft rock fans! Honey Limited is a four-piece female chorus group formed from members who met at Wayne State University in Detroit. The four members are sisters Sliwynn, Laura Polkinghorne, and Marcia Temmer, along with Alexandra and Joan. Alexandra left the group after marrying J.D. Souther, and the remaining three later renamed the band EVE and left an album on the LHI label. Laura Polkinghorne later worked with Billy Joel, Bob Seger, Van Morrison, Glenn Frey, and Bueric Clapton as a songwriter, vocalist, and arranger for recording and touring.Released in 1968 on the LHI label, this album was highly acclaimed by lovers of the Burbank-soft rock sound, with a dreamy sound and chorus work that nods to the participation of Jack Nitschke and Ry Cooder. This is a masterpiece that combines the high quality of THE GENTLE SOUL's albums released around the same time with a rarity that far surpasses them.
