All Days Records presents a curated selection of great music from around the world, released in Japan-specific editions! This special edition features a release from the Taiwanese reissue label "ONCEMOREMUSIC"—a label known to connoisseurs—complete with All Days Records’ signature paper sleeve and jacket liner notes! The de facto solo debut album featuring the classic hit "P.F. Sloan"! Composer and singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb, who brought us numerous classics that have since become pop standards—such as The Fifth Dimension’s “Jump to the Beat” and Glen Campbell’s “Love Is a Phoenix”—released this album on Reprise Records in 1970. Although it was his second album under his own name, it can be considered his de facto solo debut album, as it was released at his own request. With the exception of track 9—a cover song featuring a concept akin to a modern-day mashup—the album consists entirely of his original compositions. The standout track is undoubtedly track 2, a tear-jerking soft-rock ballad that has been loved across generations thanks to covers by The Association, Unicorn, and, more recently, British singer Rumer. Widely recognized as a masterpiece—which he himself covered on his 1977 album *ElMirage*—this version is particularly compelling for the rock-infused urgency that permeates the entire album. It is a historic masterpiece that marks the full blossoming of his talents as a singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer.
