This is the first collaboration between the two great friends, Ivry Gitlis (vn) and Martha Argerich (p), and the only session recording so far (as of 2015). The only session recording of its kind to date (as of 2015), this is a masterful performance of Franck & Debussy's Violin Sonatas, where the spark of the genius Gitlis intersects with Argerich's freedom.
