One of the masters of Italian film music, Enrico Simonetti, secretly left this beautiful and lovely masterpiece in 1974, and it is reissued for the first time in the world. This is a dramatic and sweet disc featuring the masterpieces of Mr. Simonetti's moving soundtracks. Italian composer/arranger/pianist Enrico Simonetti's 1974 masterpiece "I colori del piano" is now available for the first time on CD for the first time, featuring 8 more of his wonderful soundtrack masterpieces (some of which have never been released on CD before, and some of which were originally released only as 7" singles). This is the long-awaited first CD release. Enrico is also known as the father of Claudio Simonetti, the leader of "Goblin", a very famous band in the world of progressive music (horror film music). He is a great composer, arranger, and bandleader in addition to his excellent technique as a pianist. In addition to his numerous film and TV theme songs, he was one of the first to move to Brazil (where he had his own TV show) in the 1950s, and was an important figure in bringing Brazilian music to Italy.This album, "I colori del piano", is a compilation of his film music songs that he secretly left to the famous film music label "Cinevox" in 1974, and as the title "I colori del piano" suggests, it is a compilation of beautiful keyboard tones and exquisite melodies. This is a unique compilation of his film music, which includes only the numbers with beautiful keyboard sounds and superb melodies, as the title "I colori del piano" suggests, plus newly recorded tracks to complete the world view of the work. Therefore, it is not strictly speaking a stand-alone soundtrack work, but for this reissue, in order to expand and deepen the world view, we have added some of the great songs from the soundtrack (most of which were only released as 7" singles, including some that have never been released on CD) that were left on "Cinevox" at the same time. This is truly a "Best of Enrico Simonetti 70's" album. As the title suggests, this album is full of songs in which Enrico's beautiful piano (keyboard) plays prominently, but the sweet melodies that linger in the mind after a single listen and the moving arrangements with gorgeous strings are also outstanding.The album is moving and groovy from "01. Invidia," which is a song that gets one's heart racing with a feeling of exuberance, but it also includes Barry White's "07. Amico Piano" is a masterpiece with a beautiful worldview, and the entire album is wonderful. The eight additional tracks on this release are of even more astonishing quality, including the brilliant and dramatic groovy instrumental "13. Amore Mio Non Farmi Male," the lovely vocal waltz "15. Chi Mi Cherchera," the mellow tune with excellent crying synths "17. 17. Baciamo le mani," "16. Oceano," also sung by an electric piano, "14. Samantha," with a beautiful female scat, and "20. Tema di Clara," a hidden masterpiece in the same vein that is just as dramatic and tearful, are all bonus tracks, It is a masterpiece that can be enjoyed over and over again.
