Beyoncé’s long-awaited seventh album—her first in six years—has arrived. Beyoncé’s new album is here for the first time in six years. I know some of you might be a little hesitant because you’re already so familiar with her, but this one is on a whole different level!! It even scored a high 9.0 on Pitchfork—if you’re a music lover, you absolutely have to give it a listen at least once. The sheer quality and polish of this album are incredible!! Starting with the first single, “(6),” which samples Robin S., Beyoncé—a leading figure in Black house music— It serves as an ode to the queer community, with references scattered throughout. As you’d expect from Beyoncé, the lineup features some of today’s top-tier creators (I’ll deliberately omit names here—checking the credits is part of the fun), and my personal recommendations include tracks (1) and (3)—which are breathtaking in their perfection—as well as (7), (8), and (11). Everything—the content, the number of tracks, the runtime, and the rich variety—has been met with rave reviews; it’s a thoroughly satisfying album. (C) Nagoya Parco Store: Hideyuki Shimazaki
