The project sprouted from a live recording with Argerich and his brother Renaud at the Lugano Festival, which Argerich presided over, and was materialized again in the first concerto with Haitink & the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Fruition. A new recording by Gautier Capuçon, who describes it as "a wonderful and moving experience to produce a live recording with my brother and colleagues, with whom I have been connected by a sense of trust since I was a small child." The Cello Concerto with Haitink conducting is the first release of the soundtrack. This collection of Schumann's works, all recorded live, is a hot and intense performance with plenty of romanticism. The front cover is a shot in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. ＜Gauthier Capuçon was born in Chambéry, France in 1981, and began studying the cello at the age of 4. He studied with Philippe Muller and Annie Coche-Zakeine, and also studied with Heinrich Schiff in Vienna.In 2001, he was awarded "New Talent of the Year" at the Victoires de la Musique in France, where he was instantly noticed as a cellist representing the new generation. He has performed with Haitink, Nagano, Boulez, Gatti, Ozawa, and Abbado, and is also active in chamber music. The instrument he plays is a Matteo Goffriller made in 1701. Warner Music Japan
