LUCA & Thereisafox Complete Their 4th Album: Seven Songs Inspired by Scenes from Their Journeys. Japanese singer-songwriters LUCA and Thereisafox have released their fourth full-length album, *ASongFromDistantLands*. Production initially began as a mini-album featuring several newly written songs, inspired by two tracks created during last summer’s tour. In the spring of 2026, continuing from last year, LUCA visited Southern California, where Thereisafox lives, and the two took a roughly 10-hour drive through Sequoia National Park to LUCA’s hometown of Berkeley. The arid landscape, the endless highway, and the majestic forest—amidst the scenery of their journey, new songs emerged one after another, and the planned mini-album evolved into a full-length album containing seven tracks. Centered around the two artists’ guitars and vocals, layers of bass, saxophone, and violin come together to paint an even richer landscape. Seoul, Berkeley, Lake Forest, Okinawa, Amami, Okayama. Fragments of memories, moments, and scenery nurtured as they experienced the four seasons at each destination on their journey came together to form *ASongFromDistantLands*. These seven songs, born from the sights of their travels, will be brought to audiences across Japan this summer.
