It is a true "disco for adults" conversion, with current boogie, sexy mellow grooves, and a lot of variety! Joel Salacra and Shimafunk also guest on this album! Fundacion Tony Manero is a Spanish live band formed in 1997 and based in Barcelona. They have consistently released albums and have attracted many fans with their soulful grooves based on disco and acid jazz, and this is their latest album following "Lugares Comunes" (2018).From the opening track M(1) "Femme Fatale" and M(2) "Muneco Analogico," the disco and funk hit you right off the bat! M(3) "Break Romantico," with its emotional guitar and sexy saxophone reminiscent of Masayoshi Takanaka, is also a scream of agony, while M(5) "Se Acabo Lo Que Se Daba" was produced by Jose Luis Pardo, formerly of Los Amigos Invincibles. Joel Saracura sings on the slightly mellow groove M(6) "Words," which is also beautiful. The nostalgic M(10) "Musicofilia" features vocals by Cuban newcomer Cimafunk. The unique style of this song is a cross between Ozomatli and Cool Million, and it is really worth listening to! It's a great listen!
