His third album, "Grip," which constantly pushes the limits of art and is respected by many artists, including Bjork, is now available. Alternative R&B artist serpentwithfeet will release his long-awaited new album "GRIP" on Secretly Canadian. The album follows "soil" (2018) and "DEACON" (2021) by serpent, who was also featured on Bjork's Grammy-nominated album "Fossora" (2022). With this revival, it becomes clearer than ever why serpent, respected by Bjork, Moby, Baby Keem, and many others, has continued to push the boundaries of art and remains one of the most fascinating artists on the music scene today. GRIP follows the serpent's theatrical debut, Heart of Brick, which runs through November 1.This dance-theater production depicts a touching love story that takes place in a black gay club, featuring performances by a stellar cast of dancers and music from serpent's "GRIP". GRIP" and black gay clubs have some interesting similarities. The club is public, and the dance floor is obviously a place where people look at each other and observe each other. At the same time, the black gay club is a safe community space, it is for us, and in that sense it is very private and intimate. The club offered a different atmosphere, a different comfort, a different sense of welcome for the serpent, nurturing him in new ways. And "GRIP" is not only a night out at the club, but also a sonic expression of the highs and lows of romance.
