The archival collection 'TENTATIVE DECISIONS: DEMOS & LIVE' is now complete! It compiles a wealth of rare, unearthed recordings, including numerous previously unreleased demos and live tracks from 1975, the year the band formed. This is a two-disc analog edition, pairing the 11-track vinyl album with a 7-inch single featuring two ultra-early demo tracks from 1974! David Byrne, the genius who raced at the forefront of the 80s and continues to present the art called music to the world through various mediums like musicals and films. Talking Heads is the New York intelligence band, spearheaded by him, that made an incredibly powerful impact during their active years from the late 70s to the 80s. In 2025, the band will celebrate their 50th anniversary, a truly momentous year. To mark this occasion, a collection of extremely rare recordings will be released worldwide. This archival work captures the early days of Talking Heads from an unprecedented perspective, offering glimpses of how the original trio—David Byrne, Chris Franz, and Tina Weymouth—rapidly evolved their sound through newly unearthed demo recordings and live archives from the band's founding period.
