The piano works of Monieuszko played an important role in the development of Polish music in the 19th century. Marcin Tadeusz Ukaszewski, an outstanding pianist and researcher from Warsaw, has recorded 50 pieces written for solo piano from the 34-volume "The Complete Works of Stanisław Moneuszko" edited by Krzysztof Mazur, published in 1975 by the Polish Music Publishing House (PWM Edition). The album contains 50 pieces written for solo piano. Although Monieuszko's diverse piano compositions have been increasingly performed in recent years, they have been overshadowed by his many famous operas and songs, and at one time were almost completely forgotten. However, as a researcher, Wukaszewski believes that Monieuszko's piano music is an important work that cannot be overlooked in the development of Polish music in the 19th century, which is why, in addition to the highly accomplished performance, he has included a text that delves into Monieuszko from an analytical and historical perspective. In addition to the highly accomplished and rich performances, the more than 80-page booklet in Polish and English, which includes texts that delve into Monieuszko from an analytical and historical perspective, conveys this belief.
