Robert Max is Principal Cello of the London Chamber Orchestra (LCO), which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2021, a member of the Barbican Piano Trio, which has recorded for labels such as Guild, ASV, and Black Box, and has conducted the Oxford and North London Symphony Orchestras. He is one of Britain's veteran musicians with a diverse career that includes conducting, teaching in various places (Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Tambov Rachmaninoff Institute, etc.), and presiding over the North London Music Festival.
