Thin Lizzy
Description:
Thin Lizzy was a national rock band born in Ireland in the 1970s. More than 30 years after the death of the band's founder, Phil Lynott, the band is still respected as a rock legend by many musicians & fans. Thin Lizzy began featuring the twin lead guitars of Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham in 1974, and the new sound style was established with the release of the album "Fighting" in 1975, which became the first album to chart in the UK, The band toured Europe, England, and Ireland. The following year, in 1976, the band toured North America for the second time, following the success of "Jailbreak" in the U.S. The Detroit show on May 14 was recorded and broadcast for radio by the popular American music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour". This live album is a complete recording of this concert, including the encores. The band's sound, centered on the melodic twin lead guitars of Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham, became even stronger, and Thin Lizzy's reputation as a live band was enhanced.
