Baroque violinist Théotime Langlois de Svart (Swart), who founded the ensemble "Le Consort" with him, is another new-generation virtuoso who is making remarkable progress. As part of his recording activities, Taylor, who has been pursuing his musical heritage in the "family" unit with Folklé and Rameau, introduces Francoeur, who is famous only in name for his Kreisler forgeries.François Francoeur continued to collaborate in opera with François Lebel, son of Jean-Féry Lebel, famous for "The Four Elements," and was active until the latter half of the century, adapting Lully's works to classical style for the wedding celebration of Marie-Antoinette. He also published a series of brilliant sonatas as a violinist in his younger days.
