Théotime Langlois de Swarte, Justin Taylor (harpsichord)

Description:

A brilliant collaboration of two leading French virtuosos at the forefront of French music! The music of a family that conveys the refinement of Baroque and Rococo, the fragrance of French clavecin player Justin Taylor, who leads the new generation of French music, continues to make great strides. His high profile as a soloist as well as his interest in collaboration with vocalists and chamber music is well reflected in his recording activities. Baroque violinist Théotime Langlois de Svart (Swart), who founded the ensemble "Le Consort" with him, is another new-generation virtuoso who is making remarkable progress. A-Un and William Christie, who is a great master of the instrument. This album is a strong reminder of the freshness of the music produced by these two young talents. As part of his recording activities, Taylor, who has been pursuing his musical heritage in the "family" unit with Folklé and Rameau, introduces Francoeur, who is famous only in name for his Kreisler forgeries.François Francoeur continued to collaborate in opera with François Lebel, son of Jean-Féry Lebel, famous for "The Four Elements," and was active until the latter half of the century, adapting Lully's works to classical style for the wedding celebration of Marie-Antoinette. He also published a series of brilliant sonatas as a violinist in his younger days. The systematic selection of works by his brother and nephews, as well as his collaborations in stage music, is a collection of completely unknown works, but the charm of Langlois de Svarte's gently elastic strings and Taylor's graceful touch that responds to the charm of Langlois de Svarte's strings will keep you listening to one work after another, and then to another, and then to another. You can't help but listen to the next and the next at ....... ALPHA's release is a must-have for those who are interested in the richness of the French classical music scene. Naxos Japan
