Tero Saarinen Company's latest work "Third Practice" video is now available! This work was created in collaboration with Tero Saarinen, one of Finland's leading contemporary dance choreographers, and Aapo Hakkinen, who leads the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, and premiered at the 2019 Monteverdi Festival in Cremona. The company's dancers perform innovative dances against a fantastically lit backdrop, accompanied by Monteverdi's Madrigale with electronic amplification and sound effects. Singing in this recording, Topi Rettipu (tenor) sings while acting on stage, and Nuria Real (soprano) participates virtually as a projection video. The documentary "Routed with Wings" is a must-see film that explores Tero Saarinen's creative activities as a butoh dancer and choreographer around the world and his creativity and philosophy toward butoh.
