Trio Con Brio Copenhagen will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2019. The ensemble, whose members are two sisters from South Korea and cellist Sokyun's husband, Danish pianist Elvekir, has received a dedication of a work from contemporary Danish composer Noago and premiered a work, Triple Concerto, in honor of Sandström's 70th birthday and are currently active around the Scandinavian peninsula. The third collection includes Beethoven's early piano trio No. 3 and the "Grand Duke" from his mature period. Haydn advised him not to publish it. No. 7 is an elegant piece called "Grand Duke" because it was dedicated to Archduke Rudolf in 1811. Trio con brio conveys Beethoven's passion in warm tones while highlighting the differences in character between the two pieces. Naxos Japan
