This is the final release of the 200th anniversary year of Chopin's birth, and is a double-disc set of live recordings from two recitals held in Toyama Prefecture in July 2010. In addition to the well-known pieces such as "Fantasy Improvisation," "Waltz of the Little Dog," "Farewell," "Raindrop Prelude," and "Polonaise for Heroes," the set also includes such large-scale pieces as "Piano Sonata No. 3," "Fantasy," and "Fantasy Polonaise. This 156-minute recording is a great listening experience, filled with the high tension and enthusiasm that only a live performance can provide. It is also interesting to compare this recording with the studio (session) recording. Please enjoy the supple and strong pianism that expresses "poetry" and "melancholy" with rich emotion, in the tradition of the Negus School's Chopin performances.She plays boldly and passionately, without excess, with skillful phrasing and pedaling, and like a seeker, she explores the new depths of the work.
