The only album by DOM, a cult band from the Dusseldorf scene that shared the stage with members of Neu and Kraftwerk in the early days of Krautrock, is remastered and reissued by Sommor, a Spanish reissue label well known for discovering Pig Rider and Oberon. DOM was a short-lived four-piece band that was active in the German rock mecca of Düsseldorf for a brief period in the early 1970s. The members were talented musicians who had shared the stage with members of Neu and Kraftwerk from the time of their predecessor group, but all of them were not dedicated to music, and after the band broke up, they went on to different careers in design and research. However, the solid quality of "Edge of Time" (1972), the only remaining album, has been the talk of the town among avid progressive rock lovers since the 1990s.The band skillfully combines acoustic, percussion, organ, flute, noise, collage, oriental melodies, breathtaking intervals of sound, and other elements to create a unique world full of acid trip elements, reminiscent of Pink Floyd, Ashera, Amondur II, and others.
