Few supergroups have left as deep a mark on rock history as they have. Featuring an all-star lineup—Jeff Downs of YES, John Wetton of KING CRIMSON and UK, Karl Palmer of EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, and Steve Howe of YES—their debut album *Asia* (1982) became a global smash hit. Classic tracks like “Heat of the Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell” stand as landmarks of melodic rock. Even after enduring lineup changes and hiatuses, the band consistently delivered high-quality work—from *Astra* (1985) to *Phoenix* (2008) following their reunion, *Omega* (2010), *XXX* (2012), and *Gravitas* (2014)—the final studio album featuring John Wetton—they consistently delivered high-quality work. With Wetton’s passing in 2017, ASIA’s future became uncertain, but the band relaunched following a tribute concert in 2023.
