The cover album "HOSONO HOUSE COVERS" featuring Haruomi Hosono's 1st "HOSONO HOUSE", which has been loved and listened to all over the world by wonderful artists and bands, is finally completed! VINYL (US version) will also be released from Stones Throw Records! Details of the album, including all participating artists, are now available! Cover art by Tomoo Gokita! The cover album will be released on LP. The US/EU release on Stones Throw Records (US) will feature Pearl & the Oysters and Jerry Paper, and the US/EU release on Stones Throw Records (US) will include the album's cover of "End of Season" by rei harakami. Jerry Paper will participate in the US/EU release on Stones Throw Records (US). The cover illustration is by Tomoo Gokita. In addition to the Japanese edition, the US edition will be released on Stones Throw Records (US).Haruomi Hosono's first album "HOSONO HOUSE" was released in 1973. It is a piece of pop music history that continues to be listened to with great care not only in Japan but also in other parts of the world. For example, Harry Styles' "Harry's House," which won the Grammy Award for Best Album, was inspired by "HOSONO HOUSE. This shows that the song has penetrated and been appreciated by the younger generation in many parts of the world. The cover album "HOSONO HOUSE COVERS" commemorates 50 years since the release of such a masterpiece. The album features some of the coolest and hottest artists and bands from Japan and around the world who revere Haruomi Hosono and have contributed their wonderful covers to the album. This cover album gives a new dimension to the charm of "HOSONO HOUSE" that still shines brightly.
