The Palms of Throne Kings, released in 2019, has become a hot topic among enthusiasts for its dramatic development that pushes crying melodies and epicness, and the new formed by Turner Anderson of Ovseekue and Carl Skildam of In Exorum. In the 90's, the sub-genres of black metal and melodic death metal emerged, and the birthplace of melodic death metal was Gothenburg, Sweden. From here, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, and At the Gates, which have gained great popularity in Japan as well, laid a major foundation for the subsequent scene. One of the golden albums is In Flames' second album, "The Jester's Race. From the U.S., the Majesties profess to have been greatly influenced by this scene.They are a new generation band that perfectly embodies the sound of this 90's melodic death period, playing the Gothenburg style in a new way, containing crying melodies and twin leads, while developing their own original grandiose and dramatic style. The first single, "The World Unseen," is a brilliant melodic death metal song straight out of the 90s, and the entire album is a continuation of the golden work that laid the foundation of the scene, down to the weepy melodies, twin leads, lyrical development, beauty, and every detail. The album is a successor to the milestone work that laid the foundation of the scene in every detail.
