American producer Shel Talmy worked with The Who and The Kinks in their early years, as well as future stars like David Bowie and Lemmy (Motorhead). This follow-up to his 1960s compilation "Making Time - A Shel Talmy Production" features 24 tracks by female artists! Shel Talmy was an American who almost single-handedly changed the sound of British rock 'n' roll, and ranks among the top producers of the era. This collection covers the work of female artists signed to Shel Talmy's Planet label, as well as the work he did for Decca and produced for other labels.The lineup included the schoolgirl trio Orchids, Perpetual Langley from Belfast, Northern Ireland, with their powerful voice, Dani Sheridan, the mother of actress Nicollette Sheridan and a former Bond girl, as well as minor artists such as Liz Shelley and Van Renton, beat girls such as Colette & the Bandits, and Goldie & the Gingerbreads from the U.S. The lineup was also very diverse.
