Santana and the Isley Brothers' lead singer, Ronald Isley, guested on two songs on "Santana IV," a new album released in 2004 that brought Santana back together with his early band members for the first time in 45 years. The two hit it off well and collaborated in a breathtaking way on this album of covers of classic songs from soul, funk, blues, jazz, and pop that will be immortalized on this album.Carlos Santana, who has fused Latin, blues rock, and jazz since his debut, was captivated by the sound of the Isley Brothers' "Twist & Shout" (which he covered before the Beatles and became a hit) and other songs that often came on the radio when he moved from Mexico to San Francisco. The Isley Brothers, on the other hand, were a mellow chorus group, but also a funk-rock group, as evidenced by the fact that Jimi Hendrix toured with them and recorded with them. They were also said to be in awe of Santana, who was flying by the seat of his pants in the 1970s. The two supergroups, who respect each other, are Carlos Santana (guitar), Ronald Isley (vocals), Cindy Blackman Santana (drums), and Ernie Isley (guitar), and their message in this album is the spirit of "love and peace. This is a rich joint album by the current legends of rock and R&B who have been active for more than half a century.
