Description:

Ensemble Castor was formed in 2010 to explore the appeal of new chamber music works from the Baroque to the early Classical period, and has performed with Baroque violinist Enrico Onofri and various Baroque singers. They have been performing with Enrico Onofri, a baroque violinist, and various baroque singers. Their debut album on the DHM label features Mozart and Haydn's clavier in concerto form. Mozart's work is a piece that he learned compositional techniques from J.C. Bach and arranged when he was about 15 years old. Haydn's work is considered a divertimento with clavier, with two violins and cello added to the clavier. Both performances here are also performed by four players, including the same fortepiano, and the music is clean and fresh. Sony Music
